Breast Prosthetics

We created the “Breast Dressed” program in 2003 to help women that have had breast surgery.  We believe that every woman is beautiful, despite what her body may have been through.  Through the Breast Dressed Program, we provide custom silicone breast prostheses, custom nipple and equalizer prostheses, helpful clothing and style tips along with support and resource information.

We feel it is important to provide individual, caring service so that our clients are comfortable, confident and feel beautiful.

At Lifeart, we are innovative and we get many of our best ideas from clients themselves. We welcome feedback and suggestions.

Pre-Surgery Casting/Post-Surgery Soft Prostheses

A pre-surgery cast may be taken to create a replica of a woman’s body for a custom breast form to be based on. She can continue on with her treatment, knowing that the cast is available to help when making a prosthesis or to be made into a unique memento or artpiece. Very soft post surgery prostheses can be provided when the “fluffies” do not work well.

Custom Breast Prosthesis

Prostheses are created based on a detailed assessment meeting to identify individual physical and lifestyle needs. Our custom prostheses are soft, colour-matched, detailed, and beautiful. A custom tattoo can be designed and put into your prosthesis, which makes each breast prosthesis yours and yours alone.

Custom Equalizer Prosthesis

Fits over the remaining tissue mound following mastectomy or reconstructive surgery. An equalizer prosthesis can help balance out the breast shape.

Custom Silicone Nipple

An alternative to tattooing and surgical nipple creation. These very soft, life-like nipples can be attached to a breast mound or to a prosthesis. The nipple can be colour-matched to blend seamlessly.

Custom Swim Prosthesis

This prosthesis is made of durable, but soft materials for a prosthesis that may be used with confidence in the swimming pool or hot tub. The shape of this prosthesis is usually different, since a bathing suit molds the breast in a unique way.
